Lose 8 Kilos By New Year: Three Weeks On An Interesting Diet

Our goal: to lose weight quickly, without harming your health and lose up to 8 kilos by the New Year’s Eve, plus eliminate all the toxins from the body that prevent slimness. In three weeks, we will try to achieve it. Or at least come as close as possible. Let’s start the first week of the Nothing Too Much Diet: Slowly but surely lose weight before the New Year 2023.

As Claude Chauchard, a French nutritionist, discovered, extra pounds in us are of a different nature. Some of them are stored due to body toxicity – i.e. toxins produced by an unhealthy environment, alcohol, food containing preservatives and colourings, and stress. The “Nothing too much” diet fights just with the kilos of this origin.

Secondly, there are the pounds caused by excessive consumption of refined foods: we will also reduce and tame these. Thirdly, there is the layer of fat that protects us from the cold: we have no control over it, and rightly so. And fourthly, there are the shapes that make us attractive and sexy: we should keep them at all costs!

The “Nothing too much” diet allows us not only to get rid of unwanted pounds, but also to keep the effect achieved for a long time. Its secret is not just a balance of healthy foods (which, however, are enough to keep you from feeling hungry), but also the use of spices that burn fat, improve metabolism and cope with body sluggishness.

At the end of three weeks, the 1st phase of the diet ends – rapid fat burning and toxin elimination – and the 2nd and 3rd phases begin: the remaining toxins are “cleared out” and weight loss continues, albeit at a slower pace. This, however, will not happen until next year, 2023.

Menu for the first week of the three-week programme

Before breakfast

  • Milk with turmeric.

This drink speeds up the breakdown of fat and regulates hunger.

  • Salad with raw beetroot and egg;

Salad with raw beetroot, egg, rocket salad and apple for 2 servings.

This salad is rich in minerals, with plenty of iron, magnesium, potassium and vitamin C. Thanks to the special combination of micronutrients and the fact that all the vegetable ingredients are used raw and require energy to digest, it works to burn calories within two hours. Arugula can be substituted with an equal amount of leaf lettuce if desired.

  • 1 fresh beetroot
  • 1 apple
  • 2 large bundles of arugula
  • 1 tbsp walnuts
  • 1 juicy carrot (small)
  • 1 egg

For the dressing:

  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • sea salt (pinch)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (pinch)

Hard boil an egg, cut into slices. Chop or shred the beetroot and carrot in a blender, finely chop an apple, chop the walnuts and lightly chop the rocket leaves. Squeeze the juice of a lemon into a small bowl, add the olive oil, salt and pepper and mix well. Mix the vegetables, arugula, walnuts and egg in a salad bowl and add the dressing.

  • Non-fat unsweetened yogurt with ½ tsp. ground cinnamon;
  • Tea with cloves, anise star and lemon juice. This drink detoxifies and speeds up the metabolism. It is important to end each day this week with it.

Tea with spices and lemon juice:

  • 1 tsp. black tea
  • ½ tsp. cloves and 1 star of anise star.
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp honey

Pour 250 ml of boiling water over the tea and spices and leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and honey.
